I am a Ph.D. in Computer and Signal Processing with diverse academic background accumulated from Bachelor to Ph.D. study, enabling me to perform interdisciplinary research. My research activities focus on customized interaction techniques in virtual reality by involving human factors (cybersickness, emotion, etc.).

Research interests

  • Mitigation and prediction of motion sickness (or cybersickness) in virtual reality (P.S., with the help of A.I. methods)
  • The neural mechanism behind user perception and sensory (P.S., Computational neuroscience, reinforcement learning)
  • Multi-sensory VR interaction design and affective computing (P.S., Cognitive systems)
  • Multiphysics modeling and simulation based on numerical methods (P.S., Mathematical and physical equations, physics-driven methods)

Research methodology relies on theoretical inference/simulation and user study supported by statistics, signal processing, machine/deep learning, control theory and numerical modeling, etc..
